FOR FIRST-TIME FOUNDERS
Your first app.
Built by you.
You know what your app should do. Describe it to Joylo AI and turn that idea into a working product, without learning to code or hiring a team first.
No credit card. Your app belongs to you.
From a description
to something you can use.
Joylo builds the pages, the logic and the database together. You see your app take shape, then describe what you want to change.
Describe it.
Explain who it is for and what they should be able to do.
Make it yours.
See a working preview. Ask Joylo AI to refine the design and features.
Check your app.
The AI Confidence Score flags issues to review before customers use it.
Launch it.
Publish your app. Add your own domain on a paid plan.
WHAT WOULD YOU BUILD?
Start with a problem
you know well.
Your app might become a new business. It might replace the spreadsheet you use every day. Both can begin with a few plain-English sentences.
Try your ideaA booking business
Let customers book a time, pay and manage their appointments.
Build a booking app for a personal trainer. Show available sessions, let clients book and pay, and send them a confirmation.
A member community
Give members a place to log in, access content and manage their subscription.
Build a members' portal for my cooking school. Include paid subscriptions, a recipe library and members-only classes.
A two-sided marketplace
Bring buyers and sellers together with listings, messages and payments.
Build a marketplace where local makers can list their products and customers can browse, contact the seller and order.
A better way to run work
Replace scattered spreadsheets and messages with one shared app.
Build a dashboard for my small catering business. Track enquiries, confirmed events, menus and outstanding invoices.
Build independently.

AI can take your app from idea to launch. If a complex feature or a stubborn issue needs another pair of hands, you can engage one of Joylo’s own engineers inside your project.
- A clearer view before you launch. The AI Confidence Score checks security, reliability, scalability, integrations and code quality. It highlights what needs attention on every plan, including Free.
- A person who can see the project. With your permission, our engineer reviews your code and the available project history before the first conversation. Expert Assist has a 24-hour first-response SLA.
- Everything you build remains yours. You own the full application: its React front end, Node API and Postgres database. Export it whenever you choose and host it elsewhere.
The team behind Joylo has delivered apps such as TrustDish and the Statsports training app through HST Solutions. Meet the experience behind the platform.
Which plan
do you actually need?
The three self-serve plans differ in how much the AI can build for you each month, and in how many apps you can keep private. A human engineer is an add-on on Solo Builder and Starter.

First app.
Fair questions.
The practical details before you start.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Describe what your app should do in plain English. Joylo AI builds the interface, backend and database together. You can refine and launch it yourself, with optional Expert Assist if you want hands-on engineering help.
Can I charge customers for my app?
Yes. Joylo builds working applications that can include payments and customer accounts. Before you launch, review the AI Confidence Score's findings and test the workflows your customers will use. A score helps identify issues; it is not a guarantee that an app has no problems.
What happens if I run out of AI credits?
New builds pause until your monthly reset or an optional top-up. Apps already deployed stay live. Credits cover building and publishing; hosting for live apps is covered by your monthly renewal.
When should I move from Free to Solo Builder?
Start free to explore your idea with public apps. Solo Builder is $25 per month and adds private apps, your own domain, version control and more credits. Optional Expert Assist and Production Support are available on paid plans. Compare the plans.
Can I bring an app I started elsewhere?
Yes. Standard migration from supported builders such as Lovable, Replit, Bolt and v0 is free on paid plans. We review your project first. More complex migrations are quoted separately, so you know what is involved before committing.
What if I want a guaranteed launch with an engineer?
Once you agree a project scope and purchase the engineering hours we recommend, the Joylo Production Guarantee applies to that scope. If our estimate falls short, we carry the extra engineering cost, subject to the guarantee's conditions. Read the guarantee.
