What are credits?
Credits are the unit of AI compute consumed whenever Joylo generates or modifies code, runs design tasks, or performs other AI-driven operations on your behalf. Every action that invokes an AI model costs credits.
How much does each action cost?
One credit represents one unit of AI compute. Generating a complete full-stack application costs significantly more credits than a small single-file edit. The exact cost depends on the complexity and length of the output — longer, more complex generations consume more credits.
Monthly allocations and rollovers
Each plan includes a monthly credit allocation that resets at the start of every billing cycle. Monthly plan credits do not roll over — unused credits expire at the end of the cycle. However, additional credit packs that you purchase separately remain in your account until fully used.
What happens when credits run out?
You will receive a warning as you approach your limit. Once credits are exhausted, new AI generation tasks are paused. Your already-deployed apps continue running normally — only new builds and modifications are blocked. You can either upgrade your plan or purchase additional credit packs from Settings → Billing to resume building immediately.
Tracking your usage
Your current credit balance and usage breakdown are visible in real time on your project dashboard. You can also view detailed per-project usage history from your account settings.
