How to Deploy with a Custom Domain

Custom domains are available on all paid plans (Solo Builder and above). Free plan apps are served under a Joylo-hosted preview URL (*.preview.joylo.io) only.

Step-by-step setup

1. Open your project and go to Settings → Publishing.
2. Enter your domain (e.g. myapp.com) and click Add Domain.
3. Follow the DNS instructions shown. Typically you add a CNAME record pointing to Joylo's hosting endpoint.
4. Wait for DNS propagation — this usually takes a few minutes but can take up to 48 hours depending on your DNS provider.
5. Joylo automatically provisions an SSL certificate for your domain. No manual configuration is required.

Troubleshooting

If your domain isn't resolving after 48 hours, double-check the CNAME record value in your DNS provider's dashboard — it must exactly match the value shown in Joylo's Publishing settings. Try clearing your browser's DNS cache or use a tool like dig to verify propagation.
